Indications

PETABAY-D is typically prescribed for the following conditions:

2. Heartburn

4. Dyspepsia (indigestion)
5. Gastroparesis (delayed emptying of the stomach)

How it works

PETABAY-D is a combination medication containing two active ingredients:
1. Pantoprazole (40 mg): Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces the production of stomach acid. It works by blocking the action of the proton pump in the stomach lining, which decreases the amount of acid produced. This helps to relieve symptoms of acid-related disorders like heartburn and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
2. Domperidone (10 mg): Domperidone is a prokinetic agent that works on the digestive system. It increases the movement of the stomach and intestines, helping to improve digestion and relieve symptoms such as nausea and vomiting.
